After years of dreaming it, (and collecting for it…) I’m finally DOING it.

Mom was the one to take us thrift shopping when we were kids, stretching the dollars by buying clothes that would also fit our stretching bodies, growing almost too fast to keep up. Sometimes people would make fun of us, but ya know - whatever! They were just jealous - haha! As I grew up I started mall shopping once in awhile, but often never finding what I liked, I went back to thrift stores & had so much fun saving money. Not just clothes or shoes, but later as I furnished & decorated my homes, stocked my kitchenware cupboards, even found interesting pieces for yard art & more. There are just so many pretty things that people get rid of! Soooo…. my house is now overflowing, which leads me to finally opening a little shop of my own - Welcome to Wood & Rose Vintage Market

So when I say “little shop”, it is the TRUTH! 3 Little Rooms, but with great space out front to spread out so you can see me from the Highway. I’m here with the goal to sell the things I’ve collected, possibly help others by taking in consignments or eventually bringing in outside vendors, giving them a place to display & sell their wares as well. All towards raising the money to turn it all into my bigger dream. What is that, you ask? I wish I knew for certain, haha... I have so many ideas and I’m not sure which one will win. Heck! Maybe all of them will wrap into one amazing venue which will include specialty food carts, beer garden & bottle shoppe, vintage & art market, garden space aaaand a bed & breakfast. Anyone wanna join me on this journey?

I have wayyyy too much inventory to post every single item here, as each one is unique unto itself. I envision using this website to post the most special pieces, with occasional blog posts here, along with Instagram & Facebook posts showing some of the smaller items, or sharing events or flea markets I eventually participate in. If you have other suggestions, or special items you want me to keep an eye out for, please let me know. Let’s do this thing!
