MAN it’s hot ….

Things are moving along! It doesn’t always feel like it, but I have the shoppe all set up & have opened a few times during the evenings or on a weekend day. I’ve finally started posting a few things on facebook marketplace & have plans to do some craigslist ads as well. I’ve found out about some upcoming local-to-the-shoppe thrifting/vendor fairs coming up soon that I’ll be sure to participate in. I made a flag to put outside when I’m open with my outside display of stuff. It’s made out of a thrifted chunk of Scrapbook Paper, screaming VINTAGE in a way that I was super pleased with ~ I LOVE the way it turned out.

I’ve also been really busy with my day job, several important items on the calendar to prioritize & those have paid off in many good ways for the company. But I certainly feel like I’ve been neglecting my shoppe & what I wanted to accomplish by now. However, frankly, it’s just too hot to be there this week, and I HAVE been getting other things done, just not downtown. Like finding some fun new inventory that I’ll be adding this next week. Like finding materials to create more signage. Like selling some goods to a store & getting to help set up & decorate. All good things, progress comes in many ways.

More to share later, but for now, it’s too hot to stand here any longer, plus I’ve got goodies to unpack from my latest thrifting trip. Yahoo!
